Aaron Wimer is an associate professor and the Head of Research and Instruction at L.V. Johnson Library. He assists students, faculty, and staff in a variety of services, some of which include:
- guidance for research and reference questions.
- work with the Digital Writing and Media Arts (DWMA) and Software Engineering and Video Game Design departments to update the library collection (both physical and digital) in those areas.
- bibliographic instruction for research needs (i.e. research skills involving search strategies, source evaluation, and tips and tricks to retrieve more relevant search results).
He also contributes to the Research Guides research and reference guide system, creates library instruction videos, and teaches has previously taught adjunct classes in about the social culture of online gaming.
