Bryan Gillis Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of English Education and Literacy in the Department of Secondary and Middle Grades Education (SMGE) at Kennesaw State University. He has served as the Field Experience Coordinator and Undergraduate Coordinator for SMGE.

Bryan has authored two books, Chris Crutcher: A Stotan for Young Adults (with Dr. Pam Cole) and Sexual Content in Young Adult Literature: Reading between the Sheets. Bryan's publications have appeared in Teacher Education Quarterly, Voices from the Middle, The Journal of Adolescent and Adult Literacy, The ALAN Review, and Signal Journal. Bryan is the editor of ALAN Picks, a monthly online young adult literature book review page for The Assembly on Literature for Adolescents at NCTE (ALAN)- http://www.alan-ya.org/ and currently serves as a board member for ALAN.
