Dr. Minsoo Baek is an Assistant Professor in the Construction Management Department in the College of Architecture and Construction Management at Kennesaw State University. Dr. Baek’s work focuses on big data and construction analytics, risk managment, and innovative project delivery. His research on construction data analytics aims to improve decision making in the development of construction projects.
His work involves the application of advanced statistical analysis and machine learning/artificial intelligence techniques to evaluate the impact of considerable uncertainty related to economic, social, political, organizational, institutional, and other factors on the built environment. Current his studies focus on extracting hidden patterns and valuable correlations in the data gathered in project management databses to enhance the efficiency of project management and determine the best solutions for construction projects.
