My areas of research and teaching are in Environmental, Analytical and Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
"NEW NEWS" Along with my colleagues, we have recieved the highly competitive I3 Grant from KSU. This gives us funds to research on the Best Practices to Analyze and Characterize Microplastics in Drinking Water Treatment Plants. We are interested in sorption/desorption of metals and pharmaceuticals on microplastics. We are looking for graduate students and many undergraduate students to work on this project.
I am the General Chemistry Coordinator effective August 2019.
I am currently senior personnel on an NSF grant with Dr. S. Greipsson from the Department of Ecology, Evolution and Organismal Biology.
