Hi, there. I spend most my time designing curriculum and syllabi as an Associate Professor and the Coordinator of Interactive Design at Kennesaw State University. I teach classes on interaction design, how ethnography relates to contemporary design practice, design thinking, and digital culture.

My research is informed by cultural studies, ethnography, reception studies, and STS. The research topics I'm most interested in are how taste & culture shape design, the perceived gap between design education and design practice, and how we might view design as a form of control.
