Dr. M. Saleh Uddin is a full-professor of Architecture at Kennesaw State University, Georgia.  Before joining KSU, he was a tenured full-professor and coordinator of graduate program in Design with Digital Media in the Department of Architectural Studies, University of Missouri-Columbia. He has held full-time teaching positions at Savannah College of Art & Design, Southern University in Louisiana, Kent State University, and Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology. 

Professor Uddin is the founder head (2005) of the Department of Architecture in American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) in Dhaka. He is an active contributor to the formation of the Bangladesh Green Building Council and had organized and co-chaired its first seminar in Dhaka.

With four published books in the global market, Uddin is a leader who internationally promotes the value of design communication both in digital and manual media in architecture. Testaments to the impact of his work are in his books; Composite Drawing, Digital Architecture, Axonometric and Oblique Drawings (McGraw-Hill, Publisher), and Hybrid Drawings (John Wiley, Publisher). His books were translated into Chinese, Korean and Spanish languages. Dr. Uddin is also the Editor of Representation, The National Journal of the Design Communication Association in the US. He is the president of the Design Communication Association (USA) and the chair of the 2009 and 2014 Conference in Atlanta.

Dr. Saleh Uddin is the designer of 250-bed 465,000 sft general hospital currently under construction in Dhaka. He (with form.3 architects) is the winning architect of the prestigious forthcoming 150 feet tall, 450,000 sft Gulshan Club of Dhaka. He has also received numerous accolades that include the AIA (American Institute of Architects) Design Award, the Award of Excellence from the American Society of Architectural Perspectivists, and teaching excellence in two previous US institutions.
