Sanjeev Adhikari
Dr. Sanjeev Adhikari is an Associate Professor at Kennesaw State University. He is currenlty Graduate Program Coordinator of MS Construction Management Degree.
He previously served as faculty at Morehead State University from 2009 to 2016 and at Purdue University – Indianapolis from 2016 to 2019. Dr. Adhikari earned his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, with a focus on Construction Management, from Michigan Technological University in 2008.
With 25 years of academic experience across five universities, Dr. Adhikari has been consistently praised by students and colleagues for his exceptional teaching and research excellence. He is actively involved in numerous professional societies, including ACCE, ASC, ASCE, ACI, ASEE, ATMAE, and TRB, to enhance his teaching and research endeavors.
Dr. Adhikari has a prolific research output, having published a total of 61 peer-reviewed papers from 2019 to 2024 at Kennesaw State University. His research interests include:

Additional Information:
Since joining the KSU Department of Construction Management (CM) in 2019, I have developed a record of engaged and effective teaching, established a robust research agenda, and served our university, community, and profession. I have demonstrated KSU’s commitment to excellence through various recognitions, including the ASC International Excellence Teaching Award, Regional Teaching Awards from the ASC, and the ASEE Best Paper Award. My efforts are reflected in strong student evaluations, positive departmental annual reviews, and my role as the 2021-2022 Provost Faculty Leadership Fellow. Additionally, I was honored as an EAO scholar to visit Otzenhausen, Germany, to gain an international perspective on global issues and sustainability.
In 2023, I received the Exceptional Contributions to Research Award, and in 2024, I was honored with the APEX Award for Contributions to Outstanding Scholars and Research, both awarded by KSU President Kathy 'Kat' Schwaig. Furthermore, I received the CACM Distinguished Faculty Award in 2024, recognizing the integration of teaching, research, creative activity, and professional service.
