Stacey Grant-Williams is a native of Hartford, Connecticut. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of South Carolina and moved to Georgia where she completed her Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology. Stacey has spent over ten years working for the Georgia Department of Corrections as an Offender Rehabilitation Therapist. While working at the Georgia Department of Corrections, Stacey received the Governor’s Award (2005) for “Outstanding Achievement”. She started teaching Introduction to Psychology in 2004 as an Adjunct Professor and is currently a Lecturer. Stacey has taught a plethora of Psychology Courses; Abnormal, Developmental, Drugs and Society, Educational Psychology, History of Psychology, Human Sexuality, Diversity, Cross-Cultural, Psychology of Aging, Careers and Lifespan/Developmental course. Stacey has been married for twenty-six years and has two emerging adults. She currently holds a counselor’s certification by the National Board of Certified Counselors, NBCC.
