I am an Assistant Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department. My specialty is RF and microwave engineering with applications in communications and radar systems. I have 30 years of experience as a practicing engineer before entering academia. I served in the U.S. Navy, worked at Hughes Aircraft, General Electric, M.I.T. Lincoln Laboratory, and Airvana, and ran my own start-up for 6 years. Before joining KSU, I was a lecturer at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.
In my spare time, I compete with my dogs in the agility ring, build furniture and write novels and short stories. I am currently builiding a cyberpunk tube stereo amplifier from scratch.
