Al Eckford

Hi my name is Al Eckford, I am a native of Marietta, GA and have watched this community grow and flourish for almost five decades.  I am a proud graduate of Kennesaw State University with a BA in Business, as well as a Masters Degree in Construction Management from Southern Polytechnic State University.  

For 30+ years of my life I have worked in the construction industry.  I worked my way through undergraduate school by owning my own painting and remodeling business.  After deciding I wanted to further with my education and career, graduate school and joining C.W. Matthews Contracting, Inc. was my next step.  I started as a Foreman in the road construction industry and worked my way up to Vice President of the Roadway Division.

After 25+ years with the largest contracting company in Georgia, I am ready for the next chapter in my life.  I am excited to have the opportunity to share what I have learned.
