Christopher K. Randall, PhD

 

Professor, Department of Psychological Science

 

Dr. Randall is a tenured professor in the Department of Psychological Science at Kennesaw State University. He earned his BA in Psychology from Wabash College (IN) and his MS and PhD in Experimental Psychology from the University of Kentucky. Prior to arriving at KSU in 2005, Dr. Randall held faculty and/or post-doc research positions at Troy University’s Montgomery Campus (AL), Mount Holyoke College (MA), and Binghamton University (NY). Dr. Randall’s primary teaching and research interests include learning & behavior, comparative psychology, and evolutionary psychology. After serving as assistant chair in the department from 2014-2017, Chris was appointed interim chair and served in that role from 2017-2019. He has been teaching fully online courses since 1999, previously served as the associate director for technology-enhanced learning in KSU’s Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (2007-2011), and as the CHSS online coordinator for psychology (2010-2017). Consequently, Dr. Randall’s recent scholarship has focused on effective pedagogies and faculty development related to online teaching and learning.
