David Ancalle-Reyes

I am a Lecturer in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. I started teaching at KSU as a part-time instructor in 2017, then as a limited term instructor in 2020, and I joined the faculty as a lecturer in August 2021.

I work in water resources engineering and have designed water, wastewater, and stormwater systems in Georgia, Florida, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee, DC, Louisiana, Illinois, and the Virgin Islands. I am a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and certified by the Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission.

On the research side, I study biofluids. My work is interdisciplinary, and has been presented at conferences in biology, rheology, acoustics, among other fields.
