Pushing Pause: The Impact of Covid 19 on Black Women Faculty

You are invited to participate in a research study conducted by Kennesaw State University Associate Professor Heather Scott, Ph.D. to share your story regarding the effects of COVID 19 promotion and tenure policy on career progression in the COVID-19 era.  

Please ONLY respond if you went up for tenure or were eligible for tenure and promotion but paused your tenure clock during the time frame of March 2020-to the present.

Inclusion Criteria for Participation:

You must be 18 years of age or older to participate in this study.
You must be employed with a college or university in a tenure track teaching position. 
You must identify as a Black woman. 
Were promoted and tenured during Covid or eligible for promotion and tenure during Covid but paused your tenure clock

This phase of the study may also include a virtual interview to be conducted via Microsoft Teams.
