Jeffrey Collins

Dr. Collins is a Registered Architect and Assistant Professor of Architecture at Kennesaw State University. In 2018 he was named the AIA (American Institute of Architects) Atlanta Emerging Voice and in 2019 was awarded the ARCC (Architectural Research Centers Consortium) King Medal for Excellence in Architectural + Environmental Design Research for his dissertation, “A Framework for Coordinated Models of Architectural Precast Concrete Façades.” He has exhibited and presented his work extensively. In November 2019 he presented research at the inaugural KSU College of the Arts, The Arts Meets Science and Technology Research in the Arts Colloquium, he collaborated with fellow faculty in the Department of Architecture to successfully obtain a four-year grant from the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) to integrate issues of precast construction into various aspects of the architecture curriculum, and in 2021 was named a National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) Scholar in Professional Practice.
