Karunananda Pemasiri
Lecturer in Physics, KSU Marietta Campus
I am a dedicated lecturer in Physics at the KSU Marietta campus, where I have been teaching since Fall 2023. I bring with me over a decade of experience as a senior lecturer in Physics from my home country, Sri Lanka, a small and beautiful island just south of India.
After earning my Bachelor's degree in 2004, I moved to the USA to pursue higher studies in Physics. I completed my Ph.D. in Physics at the University of Cincinnati in 2013 before returning to Sri Lanka, where I served as a senior lecturer in the Department of Physics at the University of Peradeinya. In 2023, I relocated back to the USA and joined KSU as a lecturer in Physics.
I am passionate about teaching Physics and continually strive to foster student success through engaging and effective course delivery. I look forward to making a positive impact in the classroom and enhancing the overall learning experience for my students.
