Mia Plachkinova

Dr. Mia Plachkinova is an Associate Professor of Information Security and Assurance and Assistant Chair in the Department of Information Systems and Security in the Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University. She is also the Co-Director of the Cyber neKSUs Lab. She received her Ph.D. in Information Systems and Technology from Claremont Graduate University and her J.D. from Georgia State University. Her research interests include cybersecurity governance, digital infrastructure regulation, critical infrastructure protection, phishing and cybercrime, AI governance, and the intersection of information systems and law.
