Rongbing Huang is a professor of finance in the Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University. He teaches principles of finance, corporate finance, and equity securities. He earned a PhD in finance from the University of Florida in 2004. His research focuses on financing decisions of large and small businesses. He has published research articles in the Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of Corporate Finance, Financial Management, and Financial Review, among others. His research has been presented at the American Finance Association and Western Finance Association meetings and widely recognized by researchers and practitioners. His article in a 2009 issue of the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis won the William Sharpe Award. According to Google Scholar, this article has received over 1,200 citations. He has been a reviewer for the Journal of Finance, Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Management Science, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Corporate Finance, Financial Management, Journal of Financial Intermediation, Journal of Empirical Finance, Financial Review, and many other journals.
