Reza Shirazinejad
Dr. Shirazinejad is currently working as a full-time lecturer in civil engineering
department at Kennesaw State University. He was also an assistant professor at Bridge
Valley College before joining KSU. he obtained his Ph.D. in civil engineering, specialized
in traffic operations and transportation engineering. His research experiences are
related to traffic safety. Dr. Shirazinejad also has some journal publications relevant
to safety of roadways. His research interests are in Automated Aerial Vehicles (UAVs)
for detailed and real-time monitoring for traffic flow modeling based on Intelligent
Transportation System (ITS) sensors, and connected vehicles for prediction and management
of traffic in both urban and rural highways.
