Stacey Mitchell
In 2007 I obtained my Ph.D. in Political Science from the School of Public and International
Affairs at the University of Georgia. My areas of expertise and interest include democratization
and ethnic conflict, politics in sub-Saharan Africa, genocide, international criminal
law and post-conflict justice. I have written and/or taught classes on Human Rights,
Genocide, Ethnic Conflict, African Political Systems and Post-Conflict Justice. Among
my most recent publications are Trials and Tribulations of International Prosecution (Lexington 2013) and Understanding International Law through Moot Courts (Lexington 2014).
