Dr. Raines is a Professor at Kennesaw State University, mediator and corporate consultant. She is the author of Conflict Management for Managers (2013 and 2019) and Expert Mediators (with Jean Poitras), published by Rowman & Littlefield (2013) along with more than 50 peer reviewed articles and book chapters. In addition to her teaching and research, she has mediated more than 16,000 civil and domestic disputes, she trains mediators, she has designed and evaluated Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) programs for U.S. state and federal agencies, regularly facilitates public meetings, leads negotiated rulemaking processes, and offers coaching and consulting services for Fortune 500 companies worldwide. Her research examines best practices for mediation, training, and conflict prevention and collaboration skills.
