Wangsuk Suh
I am an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Michael J. Coles College of Business, Kennesaw State University. My research focuses on three areas: AI decision-making, where I examine the decision patterns of generative AI systems; behavioral pricing, with projects on how temporal framing of price displays shapes consumer evaluations; and research methodology, where I develop approaches to strengthen empirical evidence that help better understand both human and AI consumer behavior.
As an educator, I view myself as a teacher-scholar who values both the creation and dissemination of knowledge. Guided by Albert Einstein’s wisdom that “If you can’t explain it simply, you don’t understand it well enough,” I provide students with learning by doing opportunities that connect theory with practice. Through my AI-Enhanced Active Learning Curriculum Development (AALCD) project, I help students actively learn and achieve the learning objectives with AI tools, while fostering collaboration and critical thinking. Central to this approach is creating an inclusive learning environment where diverse perspectives are reflected and respected. To further advance student success, I collaborate with colleagues at KSU on research in student goal-pursuit, including studies on defining a “good break” for cognitively demanding tasks and the roles of AI in assurance of learning (AoL).
