Joy

Dr. Yi (Joy) Li got her Ph.D. in 2018 at the University of Louisville, and joined Kennesaw State University as an assistant professor of Computer Game Design and Development in the Department of Software Engineering and Game Development. Her current research focuses on affective gaming, virtual reality, and human-computer interaction. She is the faculty director of the Realities Lab at KSU. She has extensive experience in gamification for education and has collaborated with a number of local K-12 schools and universities on educational game design. She also makes an effort in applying gaming tools in healthcare, such as training for rehabilitation or intervention for mental disorders.
