Welcome! I joined Kennesaw State University as an Assistant Professor of Political Science in the fall of 2015. Before this my academic appointments included positions as a Visiting Assisant Professor at the University of Illinois-Chicago and as a graduate instructor at Stony Brook University.
Originally trained as a psychologist, my career path ultimately led me to apply those psychological concepts to political outcomes. Today my research focuses on contextual and psychological mechanisms that influence electoral behavior, citizen engagement, and political communication.
