Jun Ji received his Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Iowa in 1993. He worked at Valdosta State University from 1993 to 2002. He joined Kennesaw State University in Fall 2002 as an Associate Professor of Mathematics and was promoted to the rank of professor in 2007. His mathematical research interests include matrix computation, optimization, boundary value problems of differential equations, and tensors.
