Mona Sinha

Mona SinhaDr. Mona Sinha is Associate Dean for Undergraduate Programs and Associate Professor of Marketing at Michael J. Coles College of Business, Kennesaw State University. 

Dr. Sinha holds a Ph.D. in Marketing from Texas A&M University. Her current research focuses on Customer Relationship Management, specifically on fairness/justice and consumer privacy issues. She is also engaged in research on emerging markets and sustainability. She specializes in qualitative research methods.

After her doctoral studies Dr. Sinha worked as a Researcher in the Harvard Business School’s India Research Center in Mumbai, India, where she wrote business case studies in areas such as brand management, sustainability, technology and innovation. Subsequently she worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Emory University and as a Marketing Instructor at Georgia State University, before joining Kennesaw State University. She holds a master’s degree in marketing from the University of Mumbai and has eight years of sales and marketing experience in consumer product and entertainment industries.

Dr. Sinha has previously served as the Assistant Chair in the department of Marketing & Professional Sales and as Discipline Lead (PhD coordinator) in the Ph.D. in Business Administration program. She is currently Vice-Chair in the American Marketing Association's Relationship Marketing Special Interest Group and ane editorial board member at the Journal of Consumer Marketing, Journal of Relationship Marketing, and the International Journal of Emerging Markets. She was the recipient of the Coles Distinguished Teaching Award from the Coles College of Business in 2021 and was also commended with a teaching excellence award for undergraduate teaching during her doctoral program at Texas A&M University. She has been a recipient of several scholarships and grants related to her research.
