Abigail DiMercurio
Dr. Abigail DiMercurio joined the Kennesaw State University faculty in 2023. She earned her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Georgia, M.A. in Psychology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and PhD in Experimental Psychology with an emhasis in Cognitive and Developmental Sciences from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
Dr. DiMercurio typically teaches PSYC 1101, PSYC 2500, PSYC 3205, and PSYC 4100.
Her research interests include examining the relationship between motor and cognitive development in infancy and early childhood. She is particularly interested in how play and manual exploration impact early word learning.
