Anthony Martinez
Anthony Martinez is a part-time instructor of Marketing and Professional Sales at
Kennesaw State University, teaching Advertising. He is also a strategic marketing
and communications executive with 20 years of leadership experience on both the agency
and client sides of the industry, including roles at American Express, The Coca-Cola
Company, Serta Simmons Bedding, and most recently at Digitas, part of Publicis Groupe.
Anthony specializes in helping brands connect with consumers through media, with extensive expertise in communication planning, media strategy and buying, and digital marketing. Born and raised in New York, he relocated to Atlanta in 2017 with his family to serve as Global Media Director at The Coca-Cola Company.
A first-generation college graduate, Anthony earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the State University of New York at New Paltz and a Master of Science in Strategic Communications from Columbia University. He is passionate about helping students understand theory but also to confidently apply it in practice, equipping them to thrive in a ever-changing media and marketing landscape.
