Biography

I am a theoretical atomic, molecular, and optical physicist. After obtaining my bachelor degree in physics at Hong Kong Baptist University in 2013, I moved to the US to pursue my physics Ph.D. at the University of Central Florida. During my Ph.D., I worked on modeling collisions between an electron and a molecule, an atom and a molecule, and three atoms for different targets in various environments. After graduating in 2020, I moved to Kansas State University to be a postdoctoral fellow and do research in attosecond and strong-field physics. I have become Assistant Professor of Physics at Kennesaw State University since 2024. Questions that interest me the most are: How can we directly observe electron motion in molecules from experiments? How can we manipulate electron motion and control chemistry in their natural timescale? How can we translate the knowledge and techniques in attosecond and strong-field physics for molecules into applications?
