Ebony Glover, Ph.D. is the director of the Affective Neuroscience Laboratory and is Associate Professor of Neuroscience at Kennesaw State University. She is a graduate of Spelman College and received a Ph.D. in Neuroscience and Animal Behavior form Emory University. She completed a National Institutes of Health (NIH) Fellowships in Research and Science Teaching (FIRST) Postdoctoral Fellowship and a received an NIH Postdoctoral Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (NRSA). Dr. Glover has devoted her career to conducting impactful research while exposing undergraduates to the joys of scientific discovery. Her research broadly seeks to understand the biological and social basis of affective behaviors (such as fear and anxiety) and their implications for mental health.
