Heather Morgan

Dr. Heather Morgan is an Assistant Professor of Marketing and Professional Sales. She holds a Doctorate in Marketing from Cleveland State University, and has experience in marketing, entrepreneurship and the financial services sector.
She teaches Omnichannel Retailing, Fashion Marketing and Merchandising, Intro to Business and Marketing Foundations. She also serves as advisor to the National Retail Federation student club and she enjoys collaborating with students to help them reach their education goals. A first generation college graduate herself, Dr. Morgan is passionate about supporting first generation students.
Dr. Morgan is principal consultant and owner of Morgan Marketing Associates. Before joining KSU, Dr. Morgan taught at SUNY-Farmingdale and spent many years living in NYC. Prior to her career in academia, she worked as Vice President at S&T Bank and National City Bank (now PNC), where she managed several retail branches.
Dr. Morgan was recently nominated for an Outstanding Online Teaching Award at Kennesaw State University and received a Dean's Leadership Fellowship. Her research has appeared in journals such as The Journal of Advertising Education and Marketing Education Review. She is a frequent speaker on the topic of artificial intelligence in education.
Outside of teaching, Dr. Morgan is passionate about fashion, reading, spending time with her yorkie, Ziggy and maintaining her consecutive streak as champion of her fantasy football league. Feel free to connect with Dr. Morgan on LinkedIn.
