Hong Qu is Assistant Professor of Accounting at Kennesaw State University. She received her Ph.D. in Accounting from Carnegie Mellon University in 2010. Previously, she taught at Pennsylvania State University (2010-2018). Her primary research interests include how public disclosure affects price efficiency, how investors process accounting disclosure, and how coordination incentives affects investors’ decisions to analyze accounting disclosure. Her research applies experimental methods and draws on theory from accounting, economics and organizational behavior. Dr. Qu has published in Journal of Accounting Research, The Accounting Review, Contemporary Accounting Research, and Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization.
