  Welcome to my webpage.

  I am Professor of Technical Communication where I currently serve as Coordinator of the     Bachelor of Science degree in Technical Communication . I have been teaching technical and professional communication for more than 30 years. In 1998, I was Gastprofessur of Technical Writing  at Fachhochschule Merseburg, Germany, I was also principal author of a
  National Science Foundation grant.

  I have published widely in most of the major technical communication
  journals. Portfolios for Technical and Professional Communicators, which I
  co-authored with Dr. Haimes-Korn, provides detailed information about
  paper and electronic portfolios for technical and professional
  communicators. My most current publication is a book chapter on mentoring and
  internships for students pursuing technical and professional
  communication degrees.
