Hongyue Wu

Dr. Hongyue Wu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Construction Management at Kennesaw State University. She earned her Ph.D. in Construction Management Technology from Purdue University in 2024. Before joining KSU, she served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Her research focuses on human factors and management, construction and transportation safety, construction education and workforce development, and sustainability and environmental management. She has published 16 peer-reviewed journal papers, 14 conference papers, 3 technical reports, and several posters and presentations. She has participated in multiple research projects funded by state DOTs, including the Indiana Department of Transportation and the Georgia Department of Transportation. Her teaching interests include construction estimating, construction finance and economics, construction safety, environmental management and sustainability, and human factors in construction.
