My current research interests are:
· Environmental Geography, Health Geography, Spatial Analysis, Spatial Epidemiology
· Integration of GIS, spatial analysis, and modeling with environmental and health studies
· Impacts of urbanization and climate change on natural environment and public health
I have published more than 40 papers in peer-reviewed journals such as Environment International, Journal of Hydrology, Applied Geography, Science of the Total Environment, Environmental Management, Prevention Science, Journal of Prevention, Atmospheric Environment, and Atmospheric Research on various environmental topics ranging from air quality and soil contamination in china, water quality and urbanization in Massachusetts and Georgia, to environmental health in New York City and Georgia. I have served as a peer reviewer for more than 70 international journals in the fields of environmental studies, geography, and epidemiology, including Applied Geography, Atmospheric Environment, Atmospheric Research, Journal of Environmental Management, Landscape and Urban Planning, Professional Geographer, and Science of the Total Environment.
