Kevin Gecowets

Kevin Gecowets is an educator, consultant, and executive coach who helps leaders and organizations spark innovation and navigate complexity. He teaches management, business ethics, creative problem-solving, and entrepreneurship at Kennesaw State University’s Leven School of Management, Entrepreneurship, and Hospitality. He also serves as an ambassador for the KSU Family Enterprise Center.

Kevin has served in a variety of leadership and management roles, including: Director for University Learning at Kennesaw State University, Director of Organizational Change for Georgia’s Governor’s Office of Customer Service, and training and organizational development positions in private industry, government, and higher education.

Kevin earned a Ph.D. in Learning, Leadership, and Organization Development from the University of Georgia, a MS in Organizational Behavior from Brigham Young University, and a BS in Music Education from the University of Illinois. He also holds graduate certificates in Leadership and Ethics, Organizational Coaching, and Complexity Leadership.

His research interests include creativity and innovation, creative problem solving as a catalyst for transformative learning, brokerage and structural social capital in adaptive organizations, and other generative practices that support innovation and change in complex environments.
