Assistant Professor of Strategic Management

Koungjin (KJ) Lim, Ph.D., is an assistant professor of strategic management in the Michael J. Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University. Originally from South Korea, he received his Ph.D. in Management (Strategy Area) from Purdue University, M.Sc. in Business and Technology Management from KAIST, and B.A. in Economics from Sungkyunkwan University. Prior to academia, he worked at Samsung Electronics and PwC.
His research interests encompass strategic human capital, entrepreneurship, corporate strategy, and their intersection. His research has been recognized with the Distinguished Paper Award from the Academy of Management Strategic Management Division, Best Paper Prize Honorable Mention and Corporate Strategy Interest Group Best Paper Award Finalist from the Strategic Management Society.
