Kalisha Smith

Kalisha Hudgies Smith is a Lecturer of Industrial/Organizational Psychology in the Department of Psychological Science at Kennesaw State University.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Dillard University in New Orleans, Louisiana.  For graduate school, she attended the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia, where she earned a masters and doctorate in Applied Industrial/Organizational Psychology.  

Before joining the Psychological Sciences faculty at KSU in the Spring of 2020, Dr. Smith worked in both academia and corporate America.  In addition to teaching for University System of Georgia schools, she also taught for the State of Georgia’s High School/College Dual Enrollment program.  She has experience in Organizational Development Consulting, with experiences in areas such as leadership development, organizational diversity, survey development, and employee satisfaction.  Dr. Smith's background supports her interests in alternative work arrangements and underrepresented populations in the workforce.
