Lucie Cregeur
Lucie currently serves as a Professor of Marketing at Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University, where she teaches Marketing Principles. Prior to joining KSU, Lucie served in marketing leadership roles at Fortune 100 companies and global non-profits and executed award-winning campaigns. Drawing on nearly 20 years of marketing experience in retail, B2B, agency, and international development sectors—including leadership roles in brand, product, and sponsorships—she brings real-world context into the classroom, helping students bridge theory and practice.
In her most recent role at CARE, a leading international development and humanitarian non-profit headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, Lucie developed enterprise-wide marketing strategies and launched multi-channel campaigns rooted in account-based marketing, audience segmentation, and data-informed storytelling. These initiatives helped drive over $100 million in revenue and extended impact to more than 70 million people globally—advancing financial access and economic justice through powerful storytelling and targeted engagement.
During a decade at Best Buy, a Fortune 100 multinational consumer electronics retailer headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Lucie’s experience spanned digital, and traditional marketing, communications, brand management, sponsorship, ESG, and experiential. Her accomplishments include building the foundation and leading Best Buy’s cultural and cause marketing strategy, boosting brand love, outperforming KPIs, and creating a community following that recognizes the organization’s DEI and sustainability commitments. These philanthropic marketing campaigns helped raise $20.5M for St. Jude through customer donations and $5M for Best Buy Teen Tech Centers. Her work has been recognized by organizations such as Engage for Good, including a Gold Halo Award. Additionally, she transformed the digital and media campaign and MDF program, standardizing processes and improving tracking and reporting of partner spend, increasing investments by 250% YOY.
Lucie launched her career at advertising and PR agencies in Atlanta, Georgia, serving both consumer and B2B clients in foodservice, home improvement, restaurant, and non-profit sectors.
Lucie holds an MBA from the University of Georgia and BAs in Communication and General Management from Michigan State University. She is passionate about advancing opportunities for marginalized communities and leveraging marketing to improve business and community outcomes. She is a mother of two young children, and enjoys quilting and playing tennis.
