Marianne Holdzkom
Dr. Marianne Holdzkom holds her B.S. in Drama from the University of Evansville, her
M.A. in History from Ball State University and her Ph.D. in History from The Ohio
State University. Her fields of specialty are Colonial/Revolutionary U.S. History
as well as the History of U.S. Religion and Culture. She has published chapters in
two edited volumes concerning adaptation and representations of History in Popular
Culture. She has taught all four History survey courses as well as History of the
Atlantic World, Modern Social/Cultural History, Colonial U.S. History and the History
of the American Revolution. She has traveled extensively in the U.S. and Europe and
enjoys sharing what she learns on these trips with her students.
