Mark Vickrey
Senior Lecturer in History
Mark D. Vickrey has been at Kennesaw State University in various teaching positions since 1991. He is now a Senior Lecturer in History in the Department of Social and International Studies. Raised in North Carolina, Professor Vickrey earned a Bachelor of Arts in history at the University of Central Florida and Master of Arts in history at Appalachian State University. He has done additional graduate work in International Relations at the University of Virginia. Professor Vickrey teaches classes in world and American history, Contemporary World History since 1945, and Diplomatic and Military History since 1815 (with Dr. Gerald Pierce). He is Kennesaw's representative on the Regents' Academic Advisory Committee on History, and is a member of the Georgia Association of Historians and the Association for the Study of the Middle East and Africa.
