Orhan Bahadir Dogan
Dr. Orhan Bahadır Doğan (Baha) earned his Ph.D. in Marketing from Georgia State University and joins Kennesaw State from the University of Oklahoma, where he served as an Assistant Professor of Marketing.
Baha is interested in how emerging technologies shape marketing strategy, communication
effectiveness, and stakeholder engagement in digital environments. His work focuses
on topics such as artificial intelligence, wearable technology, and platform ecosystems.
Methodologically, he combines advanced econometric techniques applied to archival
panel data with experimental approaches to address substantive marketing questions.
Baha’s recent research investigates the impact of AI-enabled digital twins on B2B
sales performance. Another stream of his work draws on concepts from quantum physics
to develop new theoretical perspectives on markets and value creation through the
lens of Service-Dominant Logic. His research has been published in leading journals,
including the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Business Research,
and Industrial Marketing Management.
He looks forward to collaborating with colleagues and students at Kennesaw State University,
creating meaningful experiential learning opportunities, and advancing research at
the intersection of marketing, emerging technologies, and digital ecosystems.
