Rebecca LeFebvre
Dr. Rebecca LeFebvre is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Government and International Affairs. She teaches courses in international relations, global issues, American government, and research methods.
She received her PhD from Kennesaw State University in International Conflict Management. She is currently researching the impact of digital media technology on conflict, social movements, and international diplomacy. Her publications have appeared in journals such as New Media & Society, Societies, and Journal of Information Technology and Politics.
Dr. LeFebvre has more than twenty years of experience in the technology industry, working in the fields of aerospace telemetry, embedded systems, and internet technologies at companies such as NASA, Motorola, and Turner Broadcasting. She has four U.S. patents for innovations in the fields of in-vehicle navigation and data systems. Previously she earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rice University and a Master of Science in Computer Science from National Technological University.
