Sainand Jadhav
Welcome to my academic and research profile. I am an Assistant Professor in Mechanical
Engineering Technology at Kennesaw State University, where my work focuses on advancing
next-generation manufacturing technologies.
My research is centered on Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM), with a particular emphasis on multi-material systems, including bimetallic structures and functionally graded materials. I investigate the fundamental process–structure–property–performance (PSPP) relationships to enable reliable, high-performance components for critical applications. My work integrates materials science, robotics, and data-driven methods, including artificial intelligence and digital twins, to develop predictive and adaptive manufacturing frameworks.
In addition to research, I am deeply committed to student-centered teaching and mentorship, fostering hands-on learning experiences in additive manufacturing, design, and mechanical systems. I actively engage undergraduate researchers, helping them translate theoretical knowledge into real-world engineering solutions.
My long-term vision is to contribute to the development of intelligent, sustainable, and scalable manufacturing systems that bridge the gap between laboratory innovation and industrial application.
