Serena Rhee

Dr. Serena Rhee is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Kennesaw State University.

Specializing in macroeconomics, labor economics, and public economics, her research investigates policy issues such as the design of social insurance for the disabled, the behavioral responses of households to pension expansions, and broader macroeconomic impacts of population aging.

Dr. Rhee, who also serves as a Visiting Scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, earned her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and B.A in Economics from Seoul National University.
