Professor Queen

Brief Bio:

Trina M. Queen is an Army brat who grew up mostly in North Carolina before leaving school to join the US Navy. After spending most of her naval career aboard ships or in Virginia, she moved to Georgia and completed her BA in International Technical Communications at SPSU/KSU in 2003. The experience of raising a special needs child and caring for a dying parent renewed her interest in bioethics and Professor Queen decided to continue her education at Loyola University where she received her MA in Bioethics and Health Policy. Currently she is pursuing her doctorate in Health Education from A. T. Still University in Kirksville, MO. Professor Queen teaches several courses in the Science, Technology, and Society Program in the lower and upper divisions as well as teaching within the Honors Program. As a Georgia certified Civil Mediator, she has also taught the Conflict Resolution course in the Psychology Program.
