Tadesse Wakjira

Dr. Tadesse Wakjira joined Kennesaw State University in Fall 2025 as an Assistant
Professor in the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering and is the founding director of the AI4RISE Lab. His work bridges structural engineering and artificial intelligence to develop resilient, environmentally efficient, and safe infrastructure systems.
His research addresses pressing challenges in infrastructure resilience and next-generation infrastructure systems through a combination of experimental research, advanced materials, and emerging AI techniques.
