Vineeta SharmaFull Professor of Accounting

Vineeta Sharma is a Full Professor of Accounting and teaches upper-level auditing and in the Ph.D. program at Kennesaw State University’s Coles College of Business. 

Vineeta has published in the following journals: The Accounting Review, Auditing: A Journal of Practice and Theory, Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, Accounting Horizons, International Journal of Auditing, Journal of Business Finance and Accounting, Journal of Corporate Finance, Accounting and Business Research, Current Issues in Auditing, Journal of Forensic and Investigative Accounting, Managerial Auditing Journal, and The CPA Journal. Her research interests are in the area of corporate governance, auditing, and corporate social responsibility.

Vineeta serves on the Editorial board of Auditing: A Journal of Practice & Theory, Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, and Pacific Accounting Review, and is an ad hoc reviewer for Review of Accounting Studies, Journal of Corporate Finance, Accounting Horizons, Journal of Business Finance and Accounting, and International Journal of Auditing, to name a few.

She is the author of a book on corporate governance and financial restatements published in 2008. Vineeta has also written a chapter on audit committee independence in the Handbook on Emerging Issues in Corporate Governance published in 2010. 

Vineeta is a board member of a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, EqualMed.
