Study Abroad

Hello,

I am part of the KSU European Council faculty team and the Co-Director of the EC London study abroad program.

For general information about all 7 EC programs please link here for information. You can watch a recent presentation on the value of study abroad at this link.  Scroll down on this page to see videos about the EC London program.

KSU students can see a list of 2019 course equivalencies at this link. The EC 2019 courses that fulfill KSU General Education requirements can be seen here. A list of frequently asked questions is answered here.

I would be pleased to help get you started in considering a study abroad experience in the upcoming year. Reach me at herb.mattord@kennesaw.edu to get started. A general guide on how to begin the application process at KSU can be found here.

I also teach in the EC London program and have options targeted toward Cole College of Business BBA Majors. If you are in the Upper Division (or will be soon) you could take ISA 3710 and BUSA 3500 for 6 hours of credit. All Coles students would earn 6 hours of Business Elective credit. Those students who are BBA-IS or BBA-ISA could earn 3 hours of major elective credit for ISA 3710 and either BUSA 3500 for 3 hours of business elective credit or ISA 4490 for 3 more hours of major elective credit.

This year the KSU Global Initiatives Scholarship award is $1000, and you probably qualify. You can find out more about study abroad focused financial aid at this link. Note this is the final year of this scholarship program.
