Basic information:

• Open to high school and undergraduate students
• Learn about Army interest and investment in science
• Get experience in developing and presenting scientific research
• Paid internship in June-July 2025 at KSU, working 4 days per week full-time
• Students must be US citizens or Permanent residents

Project description:

Interns will conduct research in the mathematical sciences related to fractals. They will get to visualize the simulations they produce in the state-of-the-art Immersive Visualization Environment research supercluster lab, consisting of a dome shape display with a 5-meter diameter and 210-degree horizontal field of view. Students will also be exposed to other relevant scientific skills for competitive entry into STEM programs and careers, such as developing an effective research poster and delivering an engaging scientific presentation.
