Office of the Joint Chiefs, Pentagon. I was responsible for the analysis and dissemination of intelligence in support of on-going counter-terrorism operations in Afghanistan and elsewhere (October 2001-April 2002).

United States Mission to the United Nations, Military Staff Committee, New York, New York. I functioned as adviser to the US Permanent Representative to the United Nations on peacekeeping missions in Europe and areas of the Former Soviet Union and coordinated all relevant activities with the US Department of State, Office of the Secretary of Defense, and the Joint Chiefs of Staff (January 1998-April 1998, June-July 2001).

United States Embassy, Moscow, Russia, Office of the Defense Attache. I managed embassy-based translation support in the Defense Attache Office, Cooperative Threat Reduction Office, and Security Assistance Office for high-level diplomatic notes, U.S. government delegation visits, and U.S. Navy ship visits (March 1996-August 1996).

United States Army Field Systems Agency, Tokyo, Japan. As a Department of the Army Civilian (GS-12), I was responsible for the analysis of scientific, technical, and strategic information in support of Department of Defense regional requirements (January 1988-June 1991).
